I have provided campaign management for many productions including Matilda, Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot, Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Spamalot, Guys and Dolls, One Man, Two Guvnors, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and War Horse.
I have also had the pleasure to work on a variety of small to midscale touring productions. With many productions returning for repeat visits, I have developed excellent relationships with the marketing contacts on the touring circuit.
I have worked with Birmingham Royal Ballet as a partner organisation for 10 years and have also provided local campaign management for the venue led Dance Consortium.
Many other great dance and opera companies that I have run local carts marketing campaigns for include Acosta Danza, Matthew Bourne's New Adventures and Rambert plus season campaigns for Welsh National Opera.
It is always Christmas when you have a pantomime to market! The campaign really starts the day after the current run opens. I have directly run 7 campaigns for the biggest panto in the UK and overseen several more. Being a creative and experienced marketer, panto always gives you the opportunity to learn and try new things with each campaign.
Family friendly shows can be a great musical on a large stage to smaller productions including What the Ladybird Heard, Peppa Pig and Noddy.
Often having small budgets with hopes to sell-out from their fan bases alone, I have provided local campaign management for a wide range of comedians including Lily Savage, Lee Mack, Russell Peters, Russell Howard and Al Murray. Concert campaigns have included a very young Adele to Craig David to Bryan Adams and Shakin' Stevens.
I have worked on many new work arts marketing campaigns that have included world premieres such as The Two Worlds of Charlie F . This would mean working to smaller budgets and making new community partnerships. Whatever the size of the production, I aim to give as much individual attention to the work as those with large touring budgets.
I oversaw the campaign management of several annual festivals with the aim to increase local community interaction with the arts, local festivals have been delivered across Birmingham. With retail and community partnership networks, the festivals bring the work outside including Birmingham Weekender, B-SIDE Hip-Hop Festival, and Chinese New Year.
