I started my career in box office and group sales, working my way through different roles at the Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham. After completing my CIM Advanced Arts Marketing Certificate and Postgraduate Marketing Diploma, I became Marketing Manager in 2006 and have been fortunate to work on a wide variety of productions and projects since then.
From 2014, I worked in the marketing team at Birmingham Hippodrome in various roles including 5 years leading the team as Head of Marketing. Following 10 years of working at the Hippodrome, the time came to move on to pastures new.
After 19 years in the role, I am a creative and experienced campaign lead, with audience development and marketing strategy experience. You can find out more about my career so far on my LinkedIn page.
I have decided to go out into the world as a arts marketing consultant and have now set-up my own business called Number Four Marketing. I have previously worked on a freelance basis for Birmingham Rep and I am currently working for Birmingham Royal Ballet on their upcoming season.
If you need an extra pair of hands to help your team out with the day to day tasks that can often get left behind or you are overwhelmed with multiple projects that need delivery in the same period, please get in touch.
By outsourcing, you can give yourself and your team the space to breathe and continue doing the great work you already do.
Best wishes,
Jacky Barron
